5. In the Report Submitted by the Special Rapporteur on summary or arbitrary executions to the Commission at its forty-eighth session (E/CN.4/1992/30), paragraphs 91 to 98 contain relevant communications of the Special Rapporteur to the Government of China as well as the Government's reply thereto. The report of the Special Rapporteur on the question of torture (E/CN.4/1992/17) also reflects, in paragraphs 41 to 43, relevant appeals which the Special Rapporteur addressed to the Government of China as well as the Government's replies to his appeals. The Working Group on enforces or Involuntary Disappearances also reports, in paragraphs 83 to 88 of document E/CN.4/1992/18, on communications transmitted to the Government of China as well as on the Government's replies thereto. Finally, the report of the Special Rapporteur on Religious Intolerance (E/Cn.4/1992/52) also contains, in paragraphs 20 to 22, relevant communications transmitted to the Government of China as well as the Government's replies.

6. In accordance with operative paragraph 2 of Sub-Commission resolution 1991/10, the Secretary General transmits, in Annex II to the present note, information which non-governmental organizations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council have provided with reference to the above-mentioned resolution.

7. Two other organizations, Asia Watch and the Tibet Bureau also submitted information under Sub-Commission resolution 1991/10; their submissions are available for consultation with the secretariat.
